Skate Frederick’s Hockey Director

Jon Weetman is a hockey “lifer.” From playing on one of the “Original Six” Maryland
High School teams, to helping the Washington Crusaders Junior team win their Mid-Atlantic regional title, to tending goal for the University of Maryland, to the highly competitive Chesapeake Men’s League, and finally to multiple years in local men’s recreational leagues, Jon has been dedicated to the game for over 35 years.

Coach Weetman has completed his Level 5 USA Hockey coaching certificate and has been leading teams at Skate Frederick since 2006.

ATTENTION PARENTS of Skaters for the Friday Night Cheapskate session:

Due to the new Frederick County Health Dept regulations, we are operating at 25% capacity.

Parents of skaters for the Friday night Cheapskate session at 8 pm, PLEASE do not leave the property until you are sure that your child has gotten through admissions.

Face mask/coverings MUST BE worn at all times, while on the ice during PUBLIC SESSIONS.
